My Journey

 

Hello, I’m Kathryn and I wanted to share a little of my story and how my holistic therapy work came to life.

​

For many years, my world has revolved around bringing up my twins within the often-isolated and emotionally demanding world of autism. These years, almost fourteen of them now have shaped me in ways that continue to unfold. They have taught me resilience, compassion, patience and the quiet strength that grows from loving and supporting your children in every way you can, every single day.

This has been a long journey, with ongoing challenges woven into daily life, moments of overwhelm, exhaustion, uncertainty and loneliness alongside deep love and devotion. In 2018, I reached a point where I realised I needed to find support not only for my own wellbeing, but for my family as a whole. I understand, first-hand, what it means to keep going when life feels heavy... the pressure, the emotional labour, the constant navigation of systems and needs, the courage it takes to face each day and the small quiet victories that often go unseen.

So what began as a simple conversation with my husband soon became a reality and in January 2019, my journey into offering holistic therapies truly began.

I knew I wanted to build a sanctuary where women could feel truly safe, seen, nurtured and supported. A place where rest is honoured, emotions are welcome and the heart, body and spirit can gently reconnect.

From those very first days nervously welcoming my first client through the door my work has continued to grow, evolve and unfold in the most beautiful and unexpected ways. Over the years, I have blended massage, facials, energy work and sound into deeply nurturing, ritual-infused treatments, each one created to soothe the nervous system, restore balance and offer a sense of peace.

​

Every session has been an opportunity to hold space, witness healing and support others on their path back to themselves. Creating this business from scratch has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Each treatment, each conversation, each connection has strengthened my love for this work, especially when I see clients leave feeling softer, lighter and more at ease.

At the beginning of 2023, I created a monthly half-day retreat called Sacred Sundays and I absolutely love how special they are. They’ve grown in popularity so much they are now called Sacred Days and are held monthly in The Yurt in the Garden on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.

​

In September 2023, I began a personal healing journey that unfolded over the course of a year and brought a whole new dimension to my little business. In August 2024, I qualified as a Shamanic Practitioner. Shamanic work strips you back and brings you home to who you truly are. It’s a deeply spiritual path, rooted in the unseen world, the earth and the spirit realm and it transforms the way you see the world.

I fell in love with the Shaman’s drum and qualified as a Shamanic Drum Practitioner in July so that I could bring more connecting heartbeats into the world. I now run group Sacred Drum Birthing workshops and offer 1-1 sessions. Students have created incredible drums of their own and can join follow-on Sacred Workshops of Connection to deepen their practice, including The Sacred Drum, The Sacred Circle of Connection and Sacred Voice.

My Hypnotherapy Training began in March 2025 and will be part of The Sacred Sanctuary offerings from February 2026. It’s brought everything I’ve ever learned into alignment and inspired The Sacred Voyage – a powerful new hypnotherapy series that I’m incredibly proud of.

​

One of the most unexpected and magical parts of my journey unfolded in April 2025 when I had the honour of marrying my best friend to her partner in a heartfelt, soul-led ceremony. That moment stirred something in me and I now offer celebrant services through Sacred Ceremonies whether it’s a handfasting, vow renewal, or a farewell ceremony. I hold these moments with deep reverence, crafting bespoke, spirit-infused rituals that honour life, love and the unseen threads that connect us.

As a Qualified Adult Learning Tutor & Holistic Practitioner, I choose to share my knowledge and so in september 2025 The Sacred Pathway was born.

In October 2025, we celebrate the Wheel of the Year together though my new Sacred Season Shamanic Witch Circle. I’ll be holding gatherings for Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas and Mabon, sharing rituals, setting intentions, journeying with our ancestors and honouring the witch within.

​

Life still brings its challenges but today I walk with a fuller toolkit...practices rooted in ritual, rhythm, compassion and love. I carry deep gratitude for all my teachers seen and unseen who have guided me along the way. I am committed to sharing this wisdom in ways that honour every person’s unique journey.

My work is not simply a profession, it is a calling of the soul. I walk beside others with gentleness and reverence, offering comfort, restoration and transformation as they rediscover their truth, strength and inner light.

 

Sacred Days & Ceremonies

In March 2023, I created Sacred Days, offering women a soul-led space to rest, release, reset and reconnect. These sessions are a continuation of my work and have grown in popularity, now held in The Yurt in the Garden, where participants can fully immerse in ceremony, meditation and connection.
